Voluntary, anonymous, and confidential survey conducted by Susan Patick, our speaker from September's support group meeting is researching self-confidence related to managing Lupus symptoms; stress related to having Lupus; and non-medical treatments that benefit individuals living with Lupus for her Master's thesis. Participants must have either a diagnosis of Lupus or a tentative diagnosis of Lupus. Also, in order to satisfy the school's protocol, participants must be between 18 - 64 years of age. Asians with lupus and their families are encouraged to participate for a current study that is being conducted.
* The LFRR is sponsored by the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (NIAMS, a branch of the National Institutes of Health or NIH), They are the only research resource of multiplex lupus families in the world that scientists in the USA can apply to use in their own lupus research.
